Hi,

i have configured early watch alerts,system monitoring.Now my task to create:

set mail alerts if it reaches thresh hold values.I should get an email.So can you please guide me which weblog or SIM file i should look into.Or any other document.

Hello,

In the transaction DSWP/ SOLUTION_MANAGER, there is an option to send the early watch alerts as mail. Use the menu path Edit->Automatic E-Mail Transimission. Give the ids to which the reports should be send.

i also want to set up early watch alerts periodically when can i do that.

hi,i had setup earlywatch report in dswp.But i am unable to send auto email. though i went to edit and selected auto email alert.can you please tell me what needs to be done.

Hello,

If you are able to generate and view the EWA, please setup the automatic mailing option as I mentioned earlier. The frequency can be set in DSWP transaction Operations setup.

If you are setting the mail to an external mail id, please see to that if SCOT configuration is done properly. If SCOT is done properly then check if mails are generated and available in SOST.
