Deleting a SAP Instance

Former Member

the doc: SAP Web App. Server 6.40 SR1 Java on Windows:Oracle - it says that you simply delete an SAP Instance (CI) by doing the win stuff (start-settings-control panel-add/remove programs)

But in my environment there are no SAP instance listed in the "add/remove programs" app.

(I figure to just delete the catalog containing the CI since this is Java, but I am uncertain about what happens with services or entries in registry or other things)

(this is only regarding the WAS6.40 on windows)

Anyone have a good alternative to delete an instance.

Thanks.

Hi,

The Uninstall (UNINSAP.exe) is a part of the Installation Master and resides in the same folder as sapinst.exe.
