RFC- Connections --

Now:

On SM59 --> Logical connection --> Doubleclick on the connection --> Window POPS up > here when we click "TEST Connection"> a screen is displayed( connection type , logical connection)

My question is is there any TRX that woudl take me directly tothis screen ?

I dont want to give the ability to create /chage conection to be shared , hence this request !

Hi,

Create a role with the sm59 tcode and maintain values for S_RFC_ADM with activity 03 and assign it to the user to whom you want to restrict create/change button.

The object is S_ADMI_FCD & S_RFC only S_ADMI_FCD will be brought in rest ofcourse one can bring it in manually or other wise..butACTVT 03 is absent !!

Hence the pblm !

Hey hang on

Object S_RFC_ADM is needed for testing the connection since it has the fields for rfc destinations and they are required to test the connection.

If this is not pulled add it manully.

You are right ! I agree but for me the issue is This object when I try to add it says that S_RFC_ADM does not exsist !

If your SAP system is 4.6C or previous S_RFC_ADM does not exist...

Trace the user via ST01 for authorizations and check which object is been checked, then do the needful to fix the role.

Interesting!!!

Its an SAP delivered object and must be present in system.

Check wthr the object S_RFC_ADM in SU21 under class AAAB.

oops... you are right!!!

S_RFC_ADM is not present in 4.6.

Hey try using tcode RSRFCCHK it only has display access.
