Installation Error

Hi there,

Got this error trying to install SAP SolutionManager 4.0 SR2 - Windows2k3-SQLServer 2k5

ERROR 2008-07-31 19:10:32.889

MDB-05700 <p> MS SQL server cannot get information about account <computername>\SAP_<SAPSID>_LocalAdmin. SOLUTION: Use the MS SQL Server tools to execute the command master..xp_logininfo 'SOLMAN\SAP_LTS_LocalAdmin' and analyze the errors returned. </p>

Any idea?

I was expecting to see <domain name> instead of <computer name>

And if I do so in the SQL manager query I get no error.

I tried both local installation and domain installation

Any help would be very appreciated.

Finally switch to a local installation.

I know it's too late for an answer. I hope this answer will help for those people who will face the same error.

Make sure the account name in the ADS matches with the account name in the error message. I had the same error - after renaming the account name in the ADS it worked.
