Hi,
is there anyway we can make a book default for a user and not let the system change it?
My understanding is that we can assign a user a book in SDPPLBK and the user is defaulted to that book.
But when the user opens another book/view and does some activity, the new book/view are saved as default.
is there a way to make the system not change the default book and no matter where I go and what I do, the next time I go into SDP94 again, you should get into only that book.
Thanks.
It might be little complex to achieve. You can probably design a program to reset /SAPAPO/PBDVWSEL table at the end of the day to a status that allows a specific planning book DV to be opened for a user everytime. If you want to control the navigation, you can possibly use authorizations at Planning book or DV level.
In 5.0, maybe you can search for a Parameter ID under user profile to see if there is anything on defaulting the planning book/dataview.
