Problem on Installing SAP 4.7 IDES

Hi

I'm installing SAP 4.7 IEDS..JDK , Oracle even CENTRAL INSTANCE are installed successfully but while trying to install DATABASE INSTANCE error is occurring & following log file is generated..

I have installed SAP in F drive(100 GB) .

OS 2003 Server in C drive(25 GB)

& taken dump of all in H drive(80 GB)

if you can help to solve this it will be very grateful for me..

That question has been asked a hundred times here in the forum - did you do a search in the upper field?

Hi,

Please do not keep space in the folder name when you dump the software into the system and Pl rename H:/SAP 4.7 Dump to H:/SAP4.7Dump and it would resolve your problem,

Hi,

Are you installing on Windows 2003 ?

The 'saploc' share exists at directory 'F:\usr\sap'. Choosing drive F: as SAP System drive.

Please chek the permissions on folder F:\usr. <SID>ADM user should have full access permissions on this folder.

As suggestged above don't keep any blank spaces between folder name.

Does the folder H:\SAP\DATA exist? I know that on certain database servers, if you specify the data files to reside on H:\SAP\DATA\SIDDATA.ext, it won't be smart enough to create the H:\SAP\DATA folder first, which results in an error.

Hi,

As per the log its saying not aceessing the H drive (error H:\SAP\DATA does not exist).try to connect once again or check it dump once again in the H drive
