Hi experts,
as source message I have an XML file that has 1 segment and multiple fields.
As target message I have a IDOC with 3 segments (and their respective fields).
I mapped the fields of the XML files with the different fields of my IDOC, but with what should I map the different nodes of the IDOC (KOMG, KONH, and KONP) ??
Any help would be appreciated,
regards,
Jamal
Hi,
If that segments occurance is 1.1 then no need to map, otherwise map a constant, if you are using some fields in that segments, otherwise leave it or disable that fields.
This is also based on our requirement, if the sender side segment occurs multiple times based on that, that many number of times the Particular receiver(s) occurs then map that source segment to that Particular receiver(s) segments.

Hi
It depends on your scenario.
1) check if its mandatory fields
If they are mandatory fields, but there is no input, then you
just map blank constants
or you disalble those fieldls
2) if its not mandatory
Ignore it
Hope this helps
Thanks

Hi,
First of all if u want those Fields means u have to mapp those to corresponding fields.
Otherwise if those are mandatory fields and u dont want means , simply right click on that field and say Disable
