unable to Create user in the Child system ( CUA )

Hello Security Gurus.

I have insatalled CUA and included the child system.

All the connection seem to be fine, i don't see any error

in the SCUA transaction.

However when i create a new user in the central system

that user is not refelected in the child system.

I have checked in the st22,scul,sm58 for errors

i don't see any errors though.

Could anyone help with right approach in troubleshooting this problem.

so in scul you have a green traffic light for this new created user?

what is the status of the idoc in the child system?(you can execute bdm2 to find out the idoc number in the child system...)

Makesure user groups in CUA should exist in the child system (tcode: SUGR).

You may only be looking at the connections in CUA.

Have you checked if the child system has the correct connections to import user information from CUA?

Hi,

As you said SCUL has everything in green with no logs displayed, check the other troubleshooting tcodes for CUA like BDM2 for IDOC tracing and SM58 for checking the trfc errors.

Hi All,

Do you think that we have anything to do with the patch level

( in the child system ).

Child system patch levels :

Kernel : 640 ( 126 patch level )

Abap + Basis : 16 patch level )

PI_ basis : 2005_1_640 ( 007, SAPKIPYJ67 )

PI : 2004_1_500 ( 12)

Hi,

There might be inconsistencies in the USER data such as USER GROUPS, ADRESS Data, etc. that's one thing to check for...

I went through the SAP Notes..

Just Check out if it works...

Hi Kiran,

it seems that you have a unicode problem.

Pls log on in EN and create then a user. The distribution should work then.

Idoc status (outbound) was 02, codepage of target could not be determined.

I have added notes 793847 and 784381 for your information. nevertheless i have logged on in EN and had no üproblems in distributing users to the child system.

i have dettached the system and reattached it is working now
