In real time if i need to go for a perticular scenario do i need to create technical system and business system to do the scenario.Or the basis consultant will configure that technical and business systems?

Hi,

This is depnds on company policy, as per my experience few companies allow to configure technical and business sytem, some companies basis people will do and given values to us for IR & ID configuration, any way not big thing

Business Systems and Technical Systems are generally configured by the BASIS people, but we can config the business service in the ID part.

In general the XI developers may not have the SLD authentication

Technical System and Business Systems are created normally by Basis people.

But when u r done with some scenarios using those BS, If they change the Business System then its our responsiblity to look for the necessary changes that reflect the exising working scenarios.

Basis team will take care regarding technical system and business system genarally. we wont have enough permises to access the SLD.

and based on the role u play, limited admin access will be provided to you.

Hi Farook,

TS/BS are created by basis consultants. Creating TS it means you are configuring Systems which are participated to exchange messages. So it is very sensitive. It involves many steps. B/S is like refernce to T/S you can create it easily.

Actullay as a XI developer you dont have acess to SLD itself.

Itu2019s depend on your role in the project. If you are developer then itu2019s not required you to create TS/BS in SLD. Basis people will do it and they will give you the required information.

Business Service can be cofigured by u directly in ID. However, the Business Systems / Technical Systems are usually configured by BASIS consultant.

hi,

most of the cases you will not be having authorizations to SLD.

and you dont create any systems in realtime.

you will be given all the technical system and business system names....

Some times it depends on your role.......
