RFC destination doesn't work

Dear all

I have following App. server :

A R/3 640: Kernel SAP_BASIS SAPKB64019

B R/3 700: Kernel SAP_BASIS SAPKB70014

in B, I created RFC destination (SM59) to A with username and password. Then I clicked the Remote Logon, i can go directly to Easy Access Menu of A. This one is OK.

in A, I created RFC destination (SM59) to B with username and password. Then I clicked the Remote Logon, it direct me to the B's logon screen. In menu Test->Authorization, it prompt "Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)"

I'm sure I typed the correct password for user in B.

Anybody know why ? is it kernel problem ?

I am not sure but this may be the case:

From B to A: User must be in system A.

From A to B: User must be in System B.

Your B system is WAS 700 in which passwords are case sensitive. And when u saves the password in RFC it changes to capital letters.

So assign a capital letter password for user in B and then try again.

Hello,

With WebAs 640 I think you have to choose an uppercase password! It's the case for our XI 640.

Please try to set an uppercase password.
