Drop Down box control field in table data

Hi All,

My requirement is i have table with 7 fields out of them three fields are drop down fields, let's assume the drop down field box is cost center, custmer number. When user clicks on cost center drop down box list of all cost centers should come in drop down or else F4 help should comewhat ever is possible. Kindly explain how to achieve this scenario. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Open Purchase Order form in Live Cycle Designer from your Adobe installation directory and check the countryScript variable which does similar thing.

I have opened adobe ife cycle designer, i didn't found any sample for with name open purchase order, but there two forms purchaser order and purchase order log but in any of them there is no drop down functionality, kindly suggest.

Hi Venkatesh,

You just have to follow the path mentioned below at ur PC, u'll get a sample PDF Open that Purchase Order PDF in Adobe LiveCycle Designer:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Designer 7.1\<Language Key>\Samples\Purchase Order\Dynamic Interactive\Forms

In this form, check the Dropdown PartNo, using a script Object in Hierarchy Tab, the developer has populated different fields using populatedropdown script object, f u just take a look in that object u'll see how it takes a parameter as input and fills out the value in the other fields.
