Hi All,
Please help in configuring the Automated SCM Process Chain Monitoring.
Hi,
You can use the process chains to automate the process.
Go to transaction RSPC then you create the process chain and schedule it in the sequency as per you business functionality.
SAP has defined some standard functionality ,after creating the process chain then you can schedule it using cronacle, for scheduling in cronacle you can get the help from your BASIS counterpart.

select your process chain, right click on the process and select "create message", you get an options for successful, error or always, you can create a message based on your selection, i.e, you can create a message when the process is successful or even when theprocess fails.
after selecting the type of messages say error, you have to create a variant. create a variant in which you maintain a receipient list by clicking on "maintain receipient list". In the Receipient list for example you can add a persons email id and select the option Internet address..in this way you can add the phone numbers, or pagers for multiple receipients.
tailpiece: you can create two messages (error and successful) for a single process by cerating two different variants
In RSPC you can maitain the messages, where ever you want wheather in begining of the process or end of the process.
Go to RSPC select the process chain and go to change mode and select the process and right click there you will have the option of craete message. If something goes wrong then will send the message to your inbox in your SAP system otherwise you can configure to your external device (mail or mobile or pager).

The Computing Center Management System (CCMS) has an alert monitor that supports you in monitoring and operating your SAP systems. By default CCMS switches on the automatic process chain monitoring.
you can specify that a process chain be removed from the automatic monitoring using CCMS. In the transaction RSPC, Process chain>Attributes>Monitoring, you see a indicator to remove tyhe process chain from Automatic monitoring, With the indicator in the dialog box Remove Chain from Automatic Monitoring, you can specify that a process chain be removed from the automatic monitoring using CCMS.
As suggested in the thread, you can make this set up with your Basis counterpart
