F4 Help For the Custom Fields

Hello ,

I need to create the F4 help for one field , But the data , which they are maiantining in the custom table in R/3 .

How do i create that ?

I can get the backend destanation from the log_sys dest table .

Any help Regarding this .

Hi Vijay,

Please follow the steps below to get this functionality.

1. Create a Custom Search Help (Which uses a Search Exit to populate data) and attach it to the custom field

2. Now Create a RFC Function that will return data to the SRM system

3. Code the logic for making a RFC Function call to backend system and populate the data in the search exit.

This would require the help of some technical consultant. Hope this solves your problem.
