Why some fields are editable in Describe requirement but not in catalogs?

Hi,

Why the fields product id, product category, price, currency, per(unit) are editable in "Describe Requirement" but not in other Catalogs.

Hi,

Describe requirement is text based purchase for the product category whereas while you shop for internal goods or for a catalog (hosted internally) then you select the product and it brings "product id, product category, price, currency, per(unit" based on your product masters.

Since you can purchase for any product category with a text( the system cannot suggest any thing here) it must be entered in the first case.

Those are inbound parameters from Catalog, so we can not edit in SC.
