HI ALL
PLZ ANYONE CAN HELP ME THAT HOW TO CREAT AND CONNECT A RFC CONNECTION IN SAP MINI .
THANKS IN ADVANCE
Hi Sunny
Data distribution and transfer are important components of Business framework in SAP R/3.
Communications between applications of different systems in the SAP environment includes connections between SAP systems as well as between SAP systems and non-SAP systems are based on SAP interface protocol: RFC (Remote Function Call).
From *SM59*, we can display and maintain RFC destinations; these are displayed in the sorted order according to connection type. *SM59* -- create button, --creates new RFC connection Enter logical name for *RFC* destination field
The parameters needed to *create* a *new* RFC connection depend on the connection type, they are:
1. connection to the same application server
2. *To* *R/2* *system*
3. *To* *R/3* *system*
like this u have other T, L,S,X,m etc.
Select the *3* option *R/3* *System*
Technical settings tab -- Specify target host and system number
Logon/Security tab -- typically enter target client, and the useru2019s password. To avoid abuse a user of type communication must be used here
Specify Special Options tab--- Special flags -- Trace - check for activating the trace for RFC, these are logged in files at OS level
After saving the entries, perform the Test connection
u2022 Check the connection using Test Connection to avoid problems
u2022 Only the physical availability of a server can be verified
