functional area determination

I would like to know how functional area is determined,can we change that in the order level.

Hi,

i did nt understand what s functional area determination ! can you pls explain further. If you are talking about sales area then yes if the customer belongs to more than one sales area the system would give a pop up and you can select what you want.

you can also change later to the sales area required provided no subsequent processing of the sales order has taken place.

the functional area is trigerring by default,i want to change that when posting.I have only one sales area.For some material it should be example xxxx functional area and for some material it should be zzzz functional area.can i change that.i have checked in the order level,but its not possible.
