System allowing to change SC after complete PO and confirmation is done

Hi,

We are in SRM 4.0, Classic scenario.

After the follow on docs have been created for a SC, the system is showing a "Change" button in "Shopping cart status" link. The PO is completely confirmed and there is no pending items to be confirmed.

On clicking the "Change" button the creator of the SC is able to change the SC and it's going for approval after that.

Has any one encountered this problem before ? If so please advise on how to solve the problem.

Hi,

SC should not be changeable once the approved or follow on doc created.See this related thread which discusses something similar:

This seems to be a bug.Please create an OSS message for this.

There is an OSS note for SRM 6.0.Have a look to get some clues:

Note 1135301 - Shopping Cart changeable despite follow-on document exists

Also check whether the badi BBP_WFL_SECUR_BADI is active in your system.However it should not influence the change functionality for SC after it has been approved.
