Difference version of NWDS and SAP J2EE Server

Dear friends,

I have some question about version of NWDS. My NWDS is SP11, but the SAP J2EE Server is SP09. Are there any problems if I still create the WD project with this structure? Or Is it better if I will upgrade/downgrade both of them to the same version?

Because I not sure about the inconsistency problems,please advise.

Sukasem,

It high risk that you will have problems with such environment.

The best option is to have both IDE and WebAS of the same version. Having higher version WebAS and lower version of IDE also works typically at least within delta of several minor releases (SPs).

So my advice is to update your server to match IDE.

Also, SP11 is outdated a bit -- it is better to get more recent version.
