Hi folks,
Say there is a bucketed monthly demand of 30 in DP which is released to SNP using the same monthly bucket profile.
After running SNP, planned order is created for a qty of 30 initially. When actual sales orders comes form R/3, say 3 orders for qty of 3, each demand is consumed, but how to generate 3 different planned orders for these 3 different orders?
TIA
if you hvae forecast consumption switched on , 3 sales orders of 3 coming in when you have forecast of 30 will be consumed
you wont have any more planned orders to create
if you dont have forecast consumption then your SNP orders should ideally drop off at the Forecast horizon and consider only real sales orders

To my knowledge, the system doesnot create any sepearate orders unless the sales orders are from different sources and products. What you are talking is Pegging. SNP doesnot do that. It just looks for demand for a location product and does net requirements calculation and generates planned orders.
Consumption of your sales orders also depends on the strategy you use.
