Digital Signatures

Hi,

I have requirement in which the user has to approve a form using digital signatures. This is done using Adobe Interactive forms. Could someone plz help me with the configurations that are required for doing this and how i go about doing it.

Hi Prasy,

Signing the form is done using the private-public key relationship

There are two ways of signing the form.

1. The user himself signs the form using the private key stored in his Adobe Reader.

2. The private keys are stored on keystore in Visual Admin, & once the business process is complete, the application can itself fetch the keys from keystore & sign the from.

In order for the signature to be verified, the corresponding public key needs to be stored in the Adobe Reader of the recepient or in the keystore.

Just search for digital signatures/ certificates on help.sap. You will get all the information wrt usage/configuration of the same.
