What is manual Deployment, Why do we use Manual deployment. I guess manual deployment is done after automatic deployment.
What are the prerequisites for performing manual deployment.
How is it different from automatic Pull/ Push deployment??
Could anyone explain me a little bit about manual deployment.
Any help is greatly appreciated..
Thanks,

Hi,
Manual Deployemnt is not used term in APO.It can be either manual intervention in already created orders or creation of Manual TLB orders ( building truck load manually) from soucre location to destination location.

I am not sure exactly if Manual deployment is a SAP coined term. In my simple mind, manual deployment would be planners changing or adjusting the distribution demand at a source location. The distribution demand points to distribution receipt behind the scenes to a destination location. So the automatic deployment follows business rules which can be configured using push/pull rules. However, as in most business situations, the planners may have additional realtime information not yet factored in by the system. They can thus fat finger in the numbers in the distribution demand key figure. Thus a manual deployment would be the planner reviewed distribution numbers that can later be sent to ECC system for execution.
