How-to generate Configuration Guides for SAP components by using SAP SolMan

Dear All,

we have ECC5 in place and functioning and now it got integrated with the SolMan7.0 SP15 and we would like to bring all the configuration setting to solman.

There is no customization doc created before.

I tried to create initial IMG project and(SPRO_ADMIN) and saved it but not able to bring that customizing settings.

I tried with the service.sap.com/solutionmanager --> Media lib --> Tech papers not able to trace

Can anyone guide us how we do this?

Hi,

ok..you created a project in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN.

Then go to SOLAR01 and mark the tree element "Business szenarios".

Then select on the tab "structure" the relevant businees szenarios for you from the "Business Process Repository".

After that go to SOLAR02 and choose in the SAP menue "Configuration" --> "Generate Configuration Guide"...

follow the instructions:

some files will stored on your local computer, MS word will be opend and you have to run the Macro 'SAP_CONFIGURATION_GUIDE (Tools >Macro >Macros).
