How to trigger order response automatically?

Hello Friends,

After creating an Order (ORDERS05) in ECC we have the requirement to create order response (ORDRSP) automatically. Is there any documentation what to configure in ECC? Please guide me.

Hi

In WE20 in your PARTNER PROFILE, select your port, and in INBOUND PARAMETER you have to specify the message type, in your case it is ORDRSP. This will call a process code and inturn a function module.

if you want the order response , you need to consider this as inbound interface . you need to configure a new interface for this and make the following settings in the R/3 and XI

R/3

WE20 - Add the order response in the Inbound parameter for the r/3 partner type.

XI

Import the meta data of the order reponse idoc in IDX1.

Configure IR and ID objects seperately.
