Change in Business System

Hi Friends,

I've done the change to an Existing Business System and saved.

How to know whether this change is reflected or not.

Next what all steps i need to take care..

please suggest.

Hi,

What kind of business system is it?

Also what changes you have performed?

If you have changed logical system name you need to clear sld data cache in ID and also check in the adapter specific settings of business system and synchronize with sld.

I'm able to compare...and found that changes not reflected

I've chagned the Logical system name in the Business System and that chagnge is not reflected...in the ID buisness system...

If you have changed logical system name you need to clear sld data cache in ID and also check in the adapter specific settings of business system and synchronize with sld.

Please let me know how i can clear and do the above chagnes

Hi

To clear sld cache from ID. go to ENVIORONMENT in the menu and click CLEAR SLD CACHE.

Hi,

By default it automatically changes if the Cache is upto date otherwise refresh the cache, But better to reassign the business system in the IR part, where you used that business system.

Hi,

1. View the Business systemin SLD and cross check it.

2. In the ID open the Business system. Go to menu Service-->Adapter Specific Identifiers and do an click the button compare with System Landscape Directory. Check if the new logical system has been updated to the business system.
