Hi Experts,

if a material processing by the user ,other user also accessing the same material i want to block the other user,i want not blocking in a traction. whilet processing the Sales order.

Hello,

Go to IMG - sales & distribution - basic functions - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Availability Check - Availability Check with ATP Logic or Against Planning - Define Checking Groups.

Here you will see for a particular Checking group, a column for "Block QtRq"

Explanation:

Set this block if you want several users to be able to process the material simultaneously in different transactions without blocking each other.

Ensure that for the checking group you are using in the material master doesn't have a tick against it. If there is a tick then remove it.

Go to IMG - sales & distribution - basic functions - Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements - Availability Check - Availability Check with ATP Logic or Against Planning - Define Material Block For Other Users.

Here you will see for a checking group you can have three different initiators

A - Order

B - Delivery Note

C - Reservation of material.

For all these initiators you should have a tick in the "Block" Column as per your requirement.

Explanation:

Indicates whether, during the availability check, the material is blocked for other users. The block remains until the transaction responsible has been saved. It is set at material-plant level.

If you select this field, the material is blocked during the availability check and other users cannot:

1. Make changes in the material master record

2. Create purchase orders for the material

3. Create orders for the material

If you do not select this field, the material is not blocked during the availability check. In this case, if many users are simultaneously checking availability, the results of the checks may not be reliable.

There should be a tick for the initiators. Check the settings & maintain it as explained above.

Dont worry system will automatically gives the schedule line depending on the delivery priority and other shipping details which we maintain in the customer master.
