Location Split with release from InfoProvider to SNP

Hi,

is it possible to release using location split from an infoprovider to SNP or will this release scenario (directly from infoprovider) require that a location is specified already in the infocube?

Hi,

it does not seem to work with leaving the location char blank. I just get an error message saying "no characteristic for location specified". It works fine releasing from PA with loc split, but not from InfoProvider. Anybody knows if this is normal? (SCM 5.0)

Hi,

In the transaction, if you specify just a product characteristic and leave the location characteristic as blank, it should definitely go thru the location split table. At least, thats how the release from planning area works. Initially during the upgrade to SCM 5.1, we had to apply an OSS note to fix a bug in transaction /SAPAPO/MC90 since the release was not going thru the loc split table if u just specify the product characteristic.
