Hi,
This is not at IR and ID part, open XI server and execute the transaction codes and do the settings.
XI side settings are
IDX1 --> Create Port
IDX2 --> Specify the type of Idoc
we can mention the RFC destination(SM59) in the R/3 side so no need to mention in the XI side.
IDX1 Settings
1. Click on create new button
2. Enter the port name
3. Enter the destination client.
4. Enter the RFC Destination
5. Finally Save
IDX2 Settings
1. Click on create new
2. IDOC Message Type
3. Enter the port which was created in IDX1.

No partner detail is maintained in XI directly. Just Business Systems are mainatined in SLD for the partner systems and these business systems are imported in ID.
Port Details are maintained in idx1 transaction.

All the ID objetcs have to be created using this Business System. e.g if this BS is sender, then while creating receiver determination, u have to select this BS as sender service. Similarly, create all pipeline steps including the creation of communication channel if required.

Partner Details --> Maintained to SLD - System Landscape Directory
