F5 263 - The difference is too large for clearing

Hi All,

We are posting transaction in different currency to an interim GL account. The amount in local currency posted is such that it would clear all such posted transaction for that set.

For example

Local currency is EUR

1. Posting in USD

Document Currency Local Currency

200000 133500

2. Posting in GBP

Document Currency Local Currency

100000 133500

Now the above transaction should get cleared off as local currency amount is same.

However when we are using FB05 or F-03 to clear such transaction for that GL account we get an error saying the difference is too large for clearing (Message no. F5 263)

Hi Binay,

try the below:

Maintain the accounts in FBKPAutomatic postingsExchange Rate Dif.: Open Items/GL Acct.

Also,check in OBY6 for your company code--No forex rate diff when clearing in LC.
