ChaRM: what happens with "old" transport request?

Hi ChaRM-Gurus,

please allow following question:

What happens with following "old" transport requests when switching to ChaRM:

Q1) in DEV-system not yet released, can they be just assigned to the project?

Q2) in QAS system not yet transported to PRD, do they have to be imported all to PRD before switching on ChaRM or is there another way?

Hi!

Q1: Yes, you may assign the transport requests to a project.

Q2: Not necessarily. You may allow importing transports to PRD the "old way" without using ChaRM functionality even ChaRM is active already. Anyway, you need to be aware of the correct import sequence of transport requests (the ones which are being imported with and without project assignement/use of ChaRM)
