More than one ship to party in sales order

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me , could we have more than one ship to party in sales order if no then why not?

Dear Ashima

At header level, you can have only one ship to party. But at item level, you can have line item wise ship to party.

More than one ship to party is working fine. COuld you plz tell me that why in the document flow is does not show all the deliveries documents of the schedule lines.

Dear Ashima

You should be able to see all delivery references against one sale order in document flow. If you are unable to see, then go to VTLA and for the combination of your order type and delivery type, select the item category and ensure that the field [Update Document flow] is selected.

Hi,

you can have more than one ship to at the sales order by assigning the required ship to's first in the partner functions of customer master data. Then while doing sales order it will pop up to select one which is required. And for the line item where you wanted a different ship to against the selected ship to at header level make the change as required.

This is quite a common sceanario to have more ship to's.

Hi Ashima,

One order can have any no.of ship-to-parties.If an order contains more than one item,there is a possibility to maintain different ship to parties for each and individual item.We can do this while processing the sales order,at item level.In order to do this we have to follow the menu path

In the overview of saled doc use the menu path Goto-Item-parner.

Here u can find default ship to party for all items.Here u can change your desired ship to party particulat to that item.

Like wise u can maintain any no.of ship to parties in a single order.

But one thing is imp all these ship to parties must be assigned to that sold to party,Which is entering at the header level.

Basing on the no of ship to parties we are maintaining at the item level during the creation of order, delivery splits into more than one.

You may have more than 1 Ship-to-Party in Sales Order Line-item-level.

Maintain all the Ship-to-parties for a Sold-to-Party in Customer Master (partner Function).

You can have different ship to parties for different line items in a sales order, provided the SH are included in the Customer Master of that sold to party. You can change the SH in Item - Partner tab.

Hi,

You can have more than 1 shipto party in the sales order, ie you can have different shipto party's for different line items and that line item will be shipped to that shipto party and you will different delivery document for different sales order line items where the shipto partys are different.

You give the shipto party in the header, when all the line items have to be shipped to the same shipto paty.
