Hello
Is it possible to disable automatical DDIC-based input validations? We're looking for a way that the validation of inputs is not executed. For instance DDIC data element DATS: here DDIC checks the syntax. Can we disable this checks?
Regards & thanks.
Mathias
Is there no possibility to disable the check in WD4A?

Deactivating the search help won't disconnect the field from its DDic attributes, nor will it turn off the input validations. If you don't want the input validations of a particular data type, then don't use that data type. Create a data type of your own or just use one of the generic types like string or i.
Hi,
I think you can achieve this by removing the domain from 'Entry help/check' from the corresponding field in transaction SE11 itself.
Hope it will solve ur issue.
