How to clean up applicationlog table

Hello,

Is there a way to clean up the applicationlog table BALHDR? It's filled with data starting in 2005. Because of it's size same function in BW are just terrible slow.

Any idea of a program or job that would remove the old data?

As far as i can remember you can clean the logs from SLG2
