installing SAP R/3 and BI

i want to install SAP R/3 and SAP BI on my laptop.. but i heard tht SAP R/3 requires minimum 3 GB RAM and BI also requires min. 3GB..so in all total 6 GB physical RAM i should b havin..

bt in market no system are available with 6GB ram at the most 4gb...

is there any solution..to these prob..

Hi

I think that the minimun requirement for the installation of SAP BI and R/3 simultaneoulsy is 1.5 GB each.

You can also check the BI using Prerequisite checker provided in sapinst.

But you can start the installation and then can specify the memory for that particular instance depending on the usage and load.

Please check the specific installation guides for more details.

More than this: there is an option to install the new demo version of SAP which are meant for small machines. Please check this link

Why do you wish to install SAP R/3 on a laptop ? Have you purchased a legitimate license ?
