tp error message

Dear all,

When I use stms transport the request, the request can be immediately trans changes to product server, but transport status can not be immediately change to complete, the status is still running. I check the tp system log, can be found the following error message.

This seems to be an internal problem of tp.

I suggest you upgrade your tp and R3trans to the latest patchlevels for your platform (no need to restart the server) and try again to import.

Dear Markus,

I have upgrade my tp to 372.04.10 and R3trans to 6.14. the kernel has been upgrade 146.

the error message is occured after upgrade.

Is the R3trans version of the export system the same?

Yes. I am sure DEV R3trans and PRD R3trans have the same version. Please see the following information:

sapprda:prdadm 2> R3trans -D

This is R3trans version 6.14 (release 700 - 25.01.08 - 14:11:00).

unicode enabled version

R3trans finished (0000).

sapdev:devadm 1> R3trans -D

This is R3trans version 6.14 (release 700 - 25.01.08 - 14:11:00).

unicode enabled version

R3trans finished (0000).

Well.. I must admit I have no more idea. Since this is an internal error all you can do (in my opinion) is to create an OSS call.

I have tested the OSS from PRD to DEV user sm59, and have not found any errors.

But until now , our consultant have not ideas how to resolve it.

you can try to update R3trans and tp to the latest available version.

if your request is stuck in importing ( truck icon) but request changes already there only status is not updated.

then check following thread.

I have read your message

first check transport tool on your quality system , is it ok?

run stms -> overview -> Systems -> check -> transport tool

if it is ok ,than do following

in SE16 open table TMSTLOCKR

Deleted the request entries from the TMSTLOCKR table using (debug /h ask any abap person to help you if you don't know that)

and import request again.

, I have delete the entries from the TMSTLOCKR , and import request again, but the request status can not be changed.

Could you tell me what we debug use /h? debug stms when import?

Hi,

use debug to delete the request entry which is stuck in the queue from TMSTLOCKR.

if after deleting the entry if request is still stuck in import queue then upgrade the tp and r3trans patch as Mr. Markus suggested.

Hi,

first check the import monitor if request is imported or produce some error and still the queue status is showing importing ( Truck icon) then you can delete the request entry from TMSTLOCKR at DB level or use the method described above.

after deleting the entry from table just refresh the import queue by pressing refresh (F5)
