regarding historical data

hi all,

is it possible to maintain 3 yrs historical data in r/3..

suppose,my client is dealing with books business.customer who purchased a book 3 yrs ago can return the book now.as my client is having this type of requirements, he wants to maintain the master data and transactional data from 2005 year.so,his question is , where will u maintain this data in r/3 ? i know it is possible in APO , as BW server stores and retrieves the historical data through infocubes..how we will do in r/3 ?

Dear Yogi,

If your client done the sales through R/3 system you can find the order and invoice for that customer for that period through VA05 for orders and VF05 for billing transactions.

Even if the data uploaded from the legacy sytem you can get it from R/3 system.
