No option to export the output

hi ,'

HR people in our team are executing a report whose output they need to export it to excel .

but after executing the report and getting the output , the all the sub menu of SAVE AS is disabled

no options is coming to export it to a doc/excel/

do u have any ideas of why this problem persists

Hello. Good question , "HR people in our team are executing a report " the SAP GUI is XXX, Office are YYY, the report are ZZZ you need to find XYZ. Regards.

SAP GUI version : 640

office version : 2003

everyusers have the above configuration . but this problem occurs for few users alone

Are you check it ? The GUI Patch Level and Office SP level are same in both cases (work and not work situation). Also the users has the same authorizations on OS and R3 level ? Regards.

I m not sure on the authorizations of OS .

but they have different auth level in r/3 .

but still this problem is not reported for all the reports run by the user

Can you explain the report and step by step user actions ? We cannot guessing to solve your problem .

Verify the people with the problem are on the same patch level as those who are not having the problem. Download latest patch for SAPgui 640 and install on problem users to see if it corrects the issue.

Also note that SAPgui 640 will be out of maintenance on the 14 October 2008, you should upgrade to 7.10 - see note 147519.
