Profitability Segment grayed out in Sales Order with Customer Project

Hi,

Profitability Segment is not active in Sales Order Line Item (from the 'Account assignment' tab).

Profitability Segment works fine but when i create a Sales Order that is based on a Customer Project, it is

grayed out from the 'Accounting Assignment' tab.

Does any one know why this is so?

Pl check if profitability segment is maintained in Project.May be that is why it is not visible here.

Probability Segment is maintained but Profitability Segment is still grayed out.

The only way i was able to move things to COPA was to do a project Settlement from

WBS element to Profitability Segment (PSA).

But does anyone know if we can move things to COPA during Sales Order (specifically for a project-based Sales Order)?

Probability is one thing. This doesn't relate to profitability. It seems you are not using profit center accounting. You are using COPA. Why do you need a profit center in the profit segment?

When using COPA, all the condition types linked to a revenue acct key go to revenue in COPA, and all the discounts etc... sales deductions go to the offset.
