TO quantity is greater by 0.001 L, and can not do PGI

Hi experts,

When we created a TO for an order of 24 L of a material system created 2 line items with 2 batches. one for 22.001 L and another one for 2 L, but our client is not interested to change the delivery quantity to 24.001 and do the rest of the process as it differs from sales order quantity. Then we suggested for change in order quantity too, they are not ready.

Is there any way to change the confirmed TO quantity to 22 L in the troubled TO, so that we can deliver the correct quantity to the customer.

Actually this type of errors we are getting frequently and not able to find out the reason, it should not happen actually and always we can not suggest to change the quantity to sales order or delivery, This scenario's we are not able to replicate in 'Quality' system.

Can any one has the idea why such errors thrown by SAP even we maintained the correct conversions where ever required.

Thanks in advance.

Venkat Cheedalla.

Hi,

Is the sale unit is different than that of the base unit of measure?

In that case check the Unit of measure conversion table for correct conversion (click the additional data tab in the material master and go to UoM tab) for Litres.

You may verify how the rounding field is set-up in the delivery item category.(SPRO -> LE-> Shipping -> deliveries -> Define item categories for deliveries)

If all of the above are correct, then probably you may need to check the OSS notes.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Yes we do have different UOM and Sales Unit, in this case conversion took properly.

Order created in sales unit and delivery too in sales unit. Generally this material is delivered in sales unit only.

we got such problem for the first time for this material,

I searched for SAP notes and found the following, can you please check whether it is suitable or not.

SAP Note 135156.

Thanks
