file to rfc sce

suppose there is a flat file to R3 sce,the material id should be mandatory in R3 system?how to check whether the field coming from flat file always contain a value or not?

Hi,

In Data Type declaration declare it as mandatory.

OR

We can check in the Mapping by writing the UDF and call the Alert in that UDF

Hi,

U can handle it in Mapping.

Check the length of material id field.......... if its 0 then n can map it to some Constant value....... or raise exception
