Hi all

Successfully installed SAP BW3.5 on AIX 5.3 after installation I checked T-code SICK

Here I am facing some error:

SAP System Check

OS release AIX 3 5 00C5E98B4C00 is not supported with this kernel (640)

Severe problems were detected during initial system check.

Please, do not use that system before fixing these problems.

Please anyone help me to solve the issue

MM.Selvakumar

Hi,

The following error is present multiple times in dev_disp:

OS release AIX 3 5 00C5E98B4C00 is not supported with this kernel (640

Plz double check the whether you have installed the correct os dependent sapexe.sar?

check dev_disp and dev_w0 and post errors in the logs.

Usually transaction SICK means that a critical process is missing as ENQ or SPO, UPD.

I just reply to the same question in your other thread.

Don't open 2 threads for the same issue.

That means the kernel you are using is not compatible with your OS.

Either get a new kernel to match your OS or review if the AIX version is supported by the product you installed, you can check at http://service.sap.com/pam
