perspective in Mobile 7.1

Hi experts,

I am working on NWDS 7.1 sp03 and while reading a doc about creating mobile application it says in perspective select:

Local Data Objects for NW Mobile.

I need it to create local DO.

But I do not see the same for me.

Is something missing from my instalation.

Hi Akhil,

did you install the components from the service marketplace as part of the ramp-up? Or did you install the sdn trial version? The local DO editor is only available in the trial version to reduce the complexity in landscape setup. The official shipment from the service marketplace does not allow creation of local DOs in the NWDS. You have to create the DOs in the DOE and import them into the NWDS from there.

I downloaded it from SAP Market Place.

When I create DO in DOE and try to import it as model it gives me error.

I have the same problem... My NWDS ins´t of marketplace, is from the CD and i have the same problem.

Hi guys,

the version from the service marketplace is the same as from cd or dvd. But this version significantly differs from the trial version available here:

Regarding the issue when importing the DO from the DOE, check my reply in the other thread.
