Dear Gurus,
Plz tell me how do we put external number range for billing documents.
this option is not there in VOFA.
Dear Anil,
Option for External Number Range is not available in SAP.
The possible solution to capture as External Number Range is capture the External Number range in text field or in one of the field which is not being used & provide logic to Abaper to capture the same in print out.

Click Tab: Intervals (Change Mode)
Click Tab: Interval (Insert Interval)
A new window will pop-up. Simply Click Field: Ext (External Assignment).

Hi Anil,
Hi,
Number Ranges are maintained in T.Code: SM30.
Provide the Table/ View, say Bill_Num for example.
In Tab: Restrict data Range, Click Radio button: No restrictions and Click Tab: Maintain.
In new window, maintain all the combinations for Columns: Sales Org, dist. Channel & Bill type and no values in IntNR.
Save the data.
I hope this will work.
Regards,
Amit

Dear Anil,
We can't assign External Number Range to Billing Document..
Billing Document will use Internal Number Range. This is std SAP function..
