Hi,

Firstly i can say that v can hide,supress the fields for sales order overview;

Now my question is that whehter it should be DOCUMENT TYPE SPECIFIC(BASED ON ORDER TYPE) or

for all order types(GENERAL).

It depeneds up on the requirement.

Based on ur requirement necessary action should be taken up.

please revert back wat exactly ur requiremnt is so that to provide the suitable solution.

Hi Balu,

To hide any feild in Sales Order, first please go to Sales Order (VA01 or VA02) and on top of right hand side on Line Item grill you will find one icon for Configuration,

Click on this "Configuration Icon" and you will go to Table Setting page and there Create new Variant and click on Administrator button and there you will find to hide the required fields in Sales Order, and once you are done please Activate & save the setting and again execute Sales Order transaction to see the changes.

Cheers !!!

Where exactly is the confg option avilable??(I am not able to locate the same in VA01)

And also I would want to know if the solution suggested by u is applicable to that particular order or is it applicable to any and every order created henseforth after doing the changes.

Hi Subba,

When you go to Sales order (VA01 / VA02), on line Item grill box..... please check on top right side of the Grill box (there will be on small button in blue & yellow) just click it and do needful as I had mention in my previous message.

Step by step instructions:

o Configure the table control as you want it.

o Click the settings button at the top of the table control.

o Enter a name and chhose "Create".

o If you want this variant to appear whenever the table control

appears, set the "Use as default setting" option.

o Choose "Copy" to close the dialog box.

o If you want to change how existing variants are used, or want to

reactivate the basic setting, choose the corresponding settings from

the list boxes and choose 'Copy' to close the dialog box.

Notes

As well as user-specific variants, there are also System variants, which

are visible to all userse in the current client (although user-defined

variants, where they exist, override system variants). You can edit them using the 'Administrator' function (see the help on the relevant

screen).

Once you Activate (Generate) & save it it would be applicable for all order.

Cheers !!!

Hi !

Good Day

You can code like the following in the user exit MV45AFZZ for routine

FORM USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION.

However, this is not supported.

You can go through SAP Notes 582767, 876993 etc.

Hope this can help.

Many Thanks !

Hi,

You can use the T. Code SHD0, there you can put VA01 & define fields according to your choice.

Thanks
