SAP Sneek Preview WAS 6.40 Installion problem

Hi all,

when I install a central instance the instalation ask me where is the file LABEL.ASC.When i select a file the message is:

You entered: D:\WebAS640_Java_SP5\WebAS640SP3toSP5_Patch\SAPINST-CD\TRANS

No package defined by matched. (look for label MSSQL:AKK:6.40:UKERNEL::I386:)

My question is:where can I find the file LABEL.MSC correct????

I have search in all subfolder of zip file but the file request doesn't exist.

Help me please!!!!

Hi all,

We encountered message while Central Installation

You entered F:SAP_INSTALL\NW_Kernel

Found the label MSSQL:AKK:6.40:DVD_KERNEL:SAP Kernel6:40MS

SQL Server:CD51030771 but need the label

MSSQL:AKK:6.40:UKERNEL:I386:

we installed the nonunicode version and it worked.

Hi Michele,

I guess you are installing WAS 6.40 with MSSQL as database.

Here, it is asking for MSSQL installable fiolder path.

You have downloaded all the components for the same installation then you can get folder for your MSSQL database also.

Specify this folder path here.

As suggested, I tried to give the folder "SQL Server ENTERPRISE 2000". But still the problem persists. I tried with its subfolders too. Is there any components that I am missing?

Hi,

I tried installing the non-unicode option too. I still have the problem. This time it is asking for "MSSQL:AKK:6.40:KERNEL::I386" instead of "MSSQL:AKK:6.40:UKERNEL::I386".

Any ideas how to get rid of this?
