using EE8ISO8859P2 database charset

Hi,

is it possible to use EE8ISO8859P2 database character set with SAP ECC 6.0 and ORACLE 10.2.0.2 database?

Hello Marian,

no this is not possible. You have to run an ECC 6.0 system with an unicode characterset UTF8.

Sapnote #606359 describes this:

> If you are using an R/3 system with UNICODE or the SAP J2EE Application Server, the database must also run with a UNICODE character set. The SAP environment also supports UTF8
