What is the underline database of BAAN?

Using PI:

if its DB2, then you can use JDBC adapter of PI to integrate with SAP via IDoc, BAPI/RFC and ABAP proxies.

Hi,

I think you either go with iBaan OpenWorld Platform Connector for SAP or with SAP PI.

OpenWorld is Baan's integration framework. OpenWorld is suite which has Adapters, Connectors, Toolkit etc. that are used to connect to a specific Baan platform, and to enable it for integration. If ur OpenWorld Suite has "Connector 2.5 for XML", then it can be used to connect to XI using XML files.

U may also use "Web Services Toolkit 1.0" for connection to BAAN as webservice.
