I dont think of any blog for such scenario. However, the configuration would be simple. Suppose u have two BPMs IP1 and IP2. Sender will send data to IP1, IP1 will perform all steps inside it and finally calls IP2 using the send step inside IP1. This data can then be captured in receive step of IP2 and the process will move further.

For one end-to-end scenario, Yes u can have more than 1 BPM.
