2 queries to single chart ...

Hi everybody,

I have 2 two queries:

  • The first: Number of passager on Year/WEEK for 2007

  • The second: Number of passager on Year/WEEK for 2008

I must compare data on single chart on 2007 and 2008.

So, i have to compare only on WEEK

Any suggestions ?

Thanks a lot for your help ...

Rodolphe.

The result didn't suit for me ....

I had to regroup data in only one query ...

hmmm

it doesn't work ....

I'm going to try the RFC method.

But How can i proceeed ?

Can i have create a generic RFC which take into account 2 tables (2 fields inside) from 2 queries and supply in output a table (4 field inside)

But how can i use VC to connect my 2 queries, my chart and my RFC ?

Thanks for your suggestions

Rodolphe

Rodolphe (or somebody else),

Did you solved your problem of putting the data from two queries into a single chart with two data series?

And how ?

I've the same need.

Hi Govindu,

it is a good idea but the result is not satisfying ...

On my Querie A:

JAN 2008 -> A1

FEB 2008 -> A2

MAR 2008 -> A3

APR 2008 -> A4

MAY 2008 -> A5

JUN 2008 -> A6

On my Querie B:

JAN 2007-> B1

FEB 2007 -> B2

MAR 2007 -> B3

APR 2007 -> B4

MAY 2007 -> B5

JUN 2007 -> B6

After the Combine operator, on my chart, i have only:

A1, B1

and nothing ...

The other values don't appear ...

Any other suggestions ?

Thanks

Rodolphe.

Hi,

its should not come like that

the output should be

A1

A2

.

.

.

.

B1

B2

.

.

.

.

OK try first drag a table from the output port of the combine opearator then drag a chart from that table

or check the capacity of the output port of the Quierys

if it is zero make it to large numerical

i hope it will help

Hi,

Are u talking about BI queries? DB?

Anyway I think you should care about data combination in your backend and just display the results in VC chart.

Hi,

you can combine the data of both quires using a Combine operator and then display the data in chart.

using dataseries you can compare the values

ok REgards,
