Server process jstart.exe unavailable

Hi gurus,

I am not an administrator but a developer, so the question may be naive.

We have a local NW installation for development. After upgrading to EhP1, the jstart.exe process always becomes unavailable after some operations (maybe adding a user, sometimes just opening the portal). I guess it may be caused by out of memory issue but do not know how to diagnose. Can someone point me out where to find some clues? For example any log files to dive into? Or any diagnostic tool? Thanks a lot.
