how to find the message_ID/Reference_ID from a IDOC number

can some one tell me how to find the message_ID/Reference_ID from a IDOC number

Hi,

you can find the message id in the control record under IDX5 tcode in XI system.

Hi,

Inside XI you can use transaction IDX5. Inside R/3 system message id you will find in control record (e.g. transaction we02) and go to tab details and inside identification you have message id.
